Patrick Kirby has over 35 years of experience in the vehicle design engineering and manufacturing industries. His vast experience includes executive management, design engineering, strategic sales development, global start-up and acquisition management.

Megatech/Becker
He was the founder (1985), former President and partner of Becker Group’s Megatech Engineering. Megatech employed over 800 people in the United States and Europe. Sales in excess of $80 million, Patrick was also Executive Vice President and member of the Board of Directors of the Becker Group (1985-1997), a global automotive manufacturing firm with sales volumes in excess of $1.2 billion.

Founder BS Degree with CMU
In conjunction with Central Michigan University, Patrick was the founder of the nation’s first Bachelor of Science degree in Vehicle Design. Patrick also founded the Megatech Academy, an educational institution dedicated to providing engineering technology training and education (1996).

PGK Engineering/Kirby Services
In 1997, Patrick founded PGK Engineering, an automotive product design development and staffing organization. PGK services the OEM and Tier suppliers.

RDS/Axiem
Patrick became CEO of merger companies RDS and Axiem (2000-2003). In 2003 he re-acquired PGK Engineering.

Education
Patrick is a graduate of Philpot Technical Design School, was educated at Wayne State University School of Engineering, and holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management from Northwood University in Michigan.

Chairman of the Board - Rochester College, Michigan
Patrick was Chairman of the Board from 1999 to 2007. He also served as Trustee from 1993 to 2007.

Military Service
As Veteran of the United States Army Infantry, Patrick served in Vietnam as a Sergeant E-5 and was decorated with the Bronze Star "V" Device - Valor. Patrick was offered, but declined, a Battlefield Commission for Officer.
